A referral is not necessary for scheduling an appointment with me. Although licensed, I do not accept insurance. This enables me to spend more time with you addressing your specific needs, and developing your individualized treatment plan. Naturopathic physicians are not recognized under Medicare. I offer in-person visits, telemedicine (Oregon only) and phone consultations.

Payment is due in full at time of service. If you have an insurance plan that covers naturopathic medicine, you may submit a super-bill to your insurance for out-of-network reimbursement. You can pay at my office with a HSA card (health savings account card), cash, check (in-person visits only) or credit card (all major cards accepted with a 4.0% processing fee). Laboratory or diagnostic tests may be covered by insurance; and, therefore, would not require payment at time of service. Expect your first visit with me to last 1–1.5 hrs depending on complexity. Return visits are usually shorter in length. Often you can expect to see some improvement in your condition within 1-3 visits. Fees are based on time and complexity of the condition being treated. For more information regarding cost of services please contact me, Dr. McNiel, via telephone at 541-535-9200, or through my website’s contact page.

I sincerely look forward to fulfilling your naturopathic healthcare needs!
